I received an email from MicroMark, a company that sells modeling tools, etc. and saw this:

Has anyone used this before? I hate making/gluing rivets with a passion so will definitely be getting some of these.

Can anyone help out, would HO or O scale be better? I'm using for looking various stuff and orkifying it. Exactly! I know at least one of those scales is really small, but am still looking for a reference for relative sizes. Long ago, I bought model train deer to add to my WE, and they were actually the size of dogs or spites when lined up with the Welvises... did not work out.

I have been considering them, as well, but the need to drill for the pin may limit areas for placement. And, if I clip the pin, I may as well use home made... Minor, I know, but it has made me hesitate on picking them up. The hex bolts are freakin sweet, though!

Now peel and stick... that is about as work-free as one can get! I have a LOT of rivets to place!

Edit: O scale is 1:48, and HO is 1:72, so O scale is going to be the closest. Now, to purchase!

Edit 2: For some reason I was thinking they were peel-and-stick, however, these are waterslide decals.

being a pedant and also a model train guy, HO is 1:87

These work great, similar concept. It is indeed simply resin deposited on a transfer sheet, they are 3D.

Maybe to detail out some old power armor but certainly too small for vehicle use. And even if you get them on your model (might be a hassle) they are so small that thick paint would cover them up.
