No Long Fangs in the house. I normally use them all the time and they did a decent job in the past. But I just want to play a different list with 100% armoured units on the field (I don't own any razorbacks to pack the long fangs in). The mobility of the Dreads should also come very handy when facing the Eldar and Tau.<br /> <br /> What do you think? Grey Hunters do their job as usual, I don't think I could improve that setup. The Dreads could both handle infantry and vehicles and will be played defensive with using rhinos for cover. I'm not really sure about the Terminator squad, Arjac costs gakloads of points but on the other hand he did some epic slaughter most of the time I played him. No heavy weapon is also a bit of a downside but I just can't spare the points for it.<br /> <br /> Any comments and critics are highly appreciated!]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I like that you're staying away from Long Fangs, it's nice to see a theme that you're sticking to.<br /> <br /> A few pointers, which I'd recommend considering:<br /> <br /> - What powers will the Rune Priest have? Living Lightning I'd hope, to down those Eldar and Tau skimmers? If you go for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(425);'>LL</span> (which I'd recommend), you may also consider a CotS for BS5 shots...<br /> <br /> - Whilst very powerful, your Wolf Guard unit is also VERY expensive and would quickly face the brunt of your opponents fire: something that won't help against the likes of Railguns and Prisms/Fire Dragons. Considering the dreads are long-range and the Grey Hunters are in AV11 Rhino's, your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> is going to be the enemies priority target by a LONG way; containing over 700pts of units! I'd recommend cutting down on the points expended here, drop a couple of powerfists (and what's the energy weapon?) should help, I'd recommend ditching Arjac actually; whilst he is incredibly powerful, he'll be wasted on Tau and Eldar and that's 180pts less in one target. You could also consider swapping the Wolf Guard for a Blood Claw pack (potentially led by Arjac?) led by a Wolf Priest; this would also be very killy, but it would save you some points and can score...<br /> <br /> - What would I recommend to solve your Land Raider targeting problem? Well, for one thing I'd strongly recommend extra armour as you don't want 600-700pts of models not doing anything for a turn ( a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span> is also worth considering). and...<br /> <br /> - ... more importantly, I'd recommend a couple of vindicators; their AV13 and Demolisher Cannon makes them a very credible threat that isn't too easy to take out; this would help detract fire from the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>. If at least one of these 3 (and the supporting rhino's) reaches the enemy line, then they can make a mess of things.<br /> <br /> - To help further cut some points off I'd recommend ditching the powerfists from the Grey Hunters; you've already got a Wolf Guard powerfist (who'd have more attacks) in there and a Standard, I don't feel you really need the extra counter assault and this could save you 75pts (enought for the vindi's on top of Arjac).<br /> <br /> - I'm unsure how the Plasma/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> combo works, so I can't really advise on that, but you may prefer rifleman instead?<br /> <br /> <br /> Hope that helps, it looks good, but I'd really try to fix the Land Raider problem. The <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> will still face the vast majority of the enemy firepower, however the rhinos would be a problem if left unmolested also.<br /> <br /> Considering you don't have any Vindicators, I wonder if a 2nd Land Raider would be a useful alternative? Switching to standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>'s could provide some solid firepower and counter-assault, as well as shaving a few points off the Wolf Guard. Rune Priest will go with PlasGun <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(390);'>GH</span> Squad and is planned for the second wave of attack. <br /> The "Energy weapon" is just a bad translation out of my german codex, it's just a regular power weapon.<br /> <br /> Combi-meltas on the wolf guards sound like a good idea, I have to see where to get the points for it, same goes for the heavy flamer.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I did two games against my eldar opponent yersterday. I clearly won the first but lost the other. The biggest problem was that NONE of my tanks got nearer than 18" to his firebase. The firebase consisted of 2x3 War Walkers with scatter lasers (48 S6 shots guided for the win  <img src="/s/i/a/c1f54002789bba812b7255ca0516c659.gif" border="0">), 8 pathfinders, 5 death reapers, Edrad and another Farseer - right, my dudes got butchered!<br /> <br /> I clearly lacked of heavy dakka and it should be even worse against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> oriented chaos and blood angels.
