Battle of the Chumps 2011 (9 & 10 July) - 40k, Epic & BB! (Maelstrom Games, Mansfield, UK)

What is Battle of the Chumps?

For those who do know Battle of the Chumps is Flame On's annual multi system multi list event. It is a chance for like minded gamers to get together for a weekend of gaming in a slightly more relaxed atmosphere than a standard no-holds barred tournament; something we try to reflect with the somewhat unique rules (accept no imitations ) that see players gaming with several different sized armies, or teams, over the course of the weekend, together with a few slightly quirky and alternative missions.

This years Battle of the Chumps is being held at Maelstrom Games in Mansfield on 9th & 10th July 2011, and tickets have already been selling for the various systems (see below). If this little blurb has piqued your interest then you can find the relevant rules packs for the various systems here:

WARHAMMER 40,000 RULES PACK

40K FAQ & HOUSE RULES FOR EVENT

EPIC RULES PACK

BLOOD BOWL RULES PACK

TICKET SALES AND INFORMATION

You will be able to purchase tickets directly online from the UK 40K GT website (http://www.uk40kgt.co.uk) under the BotC 2011 section: LINKY LINK
(I am selling them via the aforementioned site is that it already has a working e-commerce system that I control and so saves me hassle)

Tickets will be £35 which includes entry to the event plus lunch on both days and an evening meal Saturday.

If something sells out there will be a reserves list and it may be worth putting your name on it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, requests to reserve tickets will be ignored.
Harsh? This is because over the years some people have taken far too much advantage of my good nature. Frankly neither I, nor the other organisers, have the time to waste chasing people again, and again, and again for payment of tickets when someone else could have bought it instead.

Tickets are your property/responsibility, there are NO refunds!

If you are unable to attend Battle of the Chumps and have purchased a ticket then please inform me for registration purposes, and potentially if there are people on the reserve list I can put you in touch with them to sell your ticket on.

Otherwise once again this is you ticket, your property, your responsibility, and there are NO refunds!

ENTRANTS

Warhammer 40,000

1	Scott Mills
2	Neil Gibbons
3	Rob Kancidrowski
4	Gary Marsh
5	Alex West
6	Michael Bolton
7	John Last
8	Mike Newman
9	Ben Whitnall
10	Steve Hedges
11	Oliver Hedges
12	Josh Roberts
13	Mark Stevens
14	Brad Zalad
15	Brett Armitage
16	Biggs Hancock
17	Andy Rutter
18	Matt Gough
19	Steve Yates
20	Ben Harris
21	Geoff Hamilton
22	Graham Apperley
23	Chris Apperley
24	Harry Allen
25	Michael Norris
26	Rob Madeley
27	Marcus Doyle
28	Chris Green
29	Gareth Donnelly
30	Adam Ryland
31	Matt Robertson
32	Andy Oakham
33	Gordon Wilson
34	Martin Ramsden
35	Ben Martin
36	Paul Burke
37	Rob Simms
38	BJ Mason
39	Dave Symcox
40	Martin Moffat
41	James Knight
42	Scott McNeil
43	Tim Smth
44	Gary Percival
45	Andy Richardson
46	Sean Gill
47	Paul Scott
48	Nathan Roberts
49	Adam Smith
50	James Le Grys
51	Peter Sidaway
52	Phil Keymer
53	Iain Miller
54	Steve Scribbens
55	James Ramsay

Epic Armageddon

1	Steve Gullick
2	Dave Thomas
3	Mike Thomas
4	Tim Hunt
5	Mike Mee
6	Marcus Haweksford
7	Sam Roberts
8	Chris Webb
9	Simon White
10	Simon Jenkins
11	Richard Laking

Blood Bowl

1	Steve Peters
2	Deane Gardiner
3	Dave Marriott
4	Robert Balmforth

I have been made aware there was a problem with the ticket site and it kept telling people 40k was sold out, that has been rectified.

As a result we've Just had a few more 40k entrants and I've updated the entrants list in the 1st post accordingly. Still plenty of tickets left for the 3 systems if people are interested.
