Chaos Icons question

I was thinking to give my chaos lord a mark of khorne with a daemon sword and sticking him into a squad of chaos terminators with a tzeentch icon. Would the Khorne icon be conffered to the terminator squad and the tzeentch icon be conffered to the chaos lord as long as the icon holders are alive and in the same squad? Additionally, can a chaos lord riding on a juggernaught join another squad, say chaos terminators?

No to both. Page 81 of the codex.

Yes.

EDIT: Also, a little extra advice: The Mark of Khorne w/ Daemon Weapon is not a very strong buy. Sure you gain an extra 1+d6 attacks, but you nearly double your chance of getting 0 attacks. Personally I think the undivided Lord with Daemon Weapon is the better option for the Strength bonus (although Slaanesh and Nurgle are a lot of fun).

Also, from a fluff standpoint, that Khorne Lord wouldn't trust any of those Terminators and would never risk running around with them.

No, the type of demon weapon is determined by the lord's mark. So if you have mark of Nurgle and a demon sword, you wound on a 4+. You can't choose to get +1 Strength, unfortunately.

The Nurgle Daemon weapon is significantly better than the Undivided one.

Thanks to the buff to poison attacks, he gets re rolls on t4 or lower- which gives it a lightning claw effect against most enemy targets.

Toughness 1-3: Undivided is stronger (5/6) > (3/4)
Toughness 4: Nurgle is Stronger (2/3)<(3/4)
Toughness 5: = in power (both wound on 4+)
Tougness 6+: Nurgle is stronger (still always wounding on a 4+)

So they get the same number of attacks, but Nurgle is picking up re rolls against MEQ, and is more effective against MCs and the like.

I dunno about you, but I would never elect the generic daemon weapon over the Nurgle Daemon weapon...

Maybe I could understand the Undivided weapon if you only play against mostly Guard, Eldar (craftworld or dark), and tau. But I'd rather have a significant extra edge against MCs for the lord rather than being slightly better at crushing elves.

Akaen's math included the unmarked lord having S5.

That said, unmarked is significantly cheaper than nurgle. Nurgle wounds better, but unmarked can be worth it if you want to save the points. Those are the two best DWs, IMO.
