The Most Hipster State in the Union.

This article's data is flawed. Hipsters consider the term "hipster" to be an insult, and would not use the search term "hipster (fashion, look, clothing, etc.)". This shows that the fine people of MN know the least about hipsters. Besides, I thought that hipsters chose their fashion based on what no one else is wearing? Usually old novelty shirts/ ratty 2nd hand shirts from good will?

Also, Juno is a mainstream movie. The lumberjack look isn't hipster, as it's fairly common. Why would a hipster wear something that's mainstream? Our live theaters, like the Walker (pictured in article) show actual theater productions, like Shakespeare, or Ibsen. Hipster theatre is improv plays in the back of a warehouse that explore modern themes of sexuality through the use of naval metaphors, where the only price of admission is finding a way into the warehouse without the security guard catching you.
I've never heard of the last 3 bands mentioned, but Bob Dylan and Prince are very definitely mainstream. Of course, that means the last 3 are hipster bands, now that I think about it.

But Minneapolis is the geekiest city! We already have one niche, we don't need another!
