Help / thoughts on a 35 pt Karchev list

Morning. I have been playing the same Karchev list for about 2 months, and am considering some editions and tweaks. Here's what I run.

Karchev
Juggernaut
Beserker
Beserker
Spriggan
Greylords
Doomreavers
Wardog

I do fairly well with the list, but notice sometimes I fall a little short vs infantry heavy lists with tough. I just don't have the amount of attacks, and often fall short. Playing Trollbloods is rough. I love 4 jacks, but i'm highly considering dumping a beserker for a 2nd unit of Doom Reavers who really shine in the list. 2 units would give me a lot to threaten opponents with. I have an aggressive play style, so often opponents are fighting everything on turn 2. I don't think I really need the UA as I think putting points towards a 2nd unit is more effective for more attacks. Am I wrong in this?

What are you thoughts? What else would you suggest. I dislike the gunboat style with Destroyers. I like smash mouth style play. I considered winterguard for a bog down unit. If I go that rout I could change the Grey Lord to the Grey Lord Solo, then have points for the Winterguard UA.

My goal is to stay with 3 jacks. Any suggestions? Down the line I will tinker with swapping the Spriggan for Beast 09. My ultimate goal is fun. I like the have the army fully painted which it is now minus 4 doom reavers.

I played Big K almost exclusively last year and I had the best success with 2 'jacks at 35 and 3 at 50. He can't tow over three for one thing, and we have a very infantry-heavy meta around here so lots of jacks get bogged down. I am a huge fan of Beast, but you have a Spriggan so you have a 'jack with Reach that can do the 19" Mk.II powerslide.

I'd drop a Berserker and the Juggernaut for some utility like Widowmakers/widowmaker marksman/Kell bailloch, and some additional multi-purpose beatdown like Greatbears and Fenris.

Fenris has the speed to be a serious threat; he'll get there when Doom Reavers might not, and he's just as killy, if not more so, since he hits better. Greatbears are just... great. They can take down jacks and heavy infantry alike, they're fast, and they don't need any help from Karchev (always a good thing, 'cause he doesn't care about his infantry!)

You'll have a lot more versatility with some of the above instead of the heavies. Karchev doesn't have a lot of focus, and even with Unearthly Rage those 'jacks are only killing two models a turn.

-Dis.

i find that Big K needs a bokur. Hos big base really leaves him out to dry for Eiryss.

I also like cheaper jacks for karchev since her makes them all amazing. if i was running him (i do every so often) i would go:

Karchev the Terrible
Juggernaut
Juggernaut
Kodiak
War dog
Battle Mechaniks (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Winter Guard Rifle Corps (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich
Ogrun Bokur
Reinholdt, Gobber Speculator

jacks as per usual. wardog for DEF boost. Meks becuase you are running loads of jacks, rifle corp for crowd control. bokur to soak important shots and the gobber for additional 10 inch spray each round.

+1 on a Bokur, especially in competitive environs where the Eirysses abound.

I have to bring a reach 'jack with Karchev, the modern powerslide is just as boss as it used to be. You just have to have a War Dog handy to line up Karchev's charge so he gets to cast Unearthly Rage, Feat, and charge 9" with Tow. Very hard to stop and a Spriggan in particular can thread a tight line to the enemy 'caster.

-Dis.
