Plasma rifles are good for taking out most armor saves and have good strength too, the multitracker allows a battlesuit to fire more than one weapon during their turn. As for other weapons I would recommend a burst cannon or missile pod

He used some spare parts from the SM Battleforce to make a Captain, with Artificer armour, Power fist, Stormshield, Melta bombs, and Iron Halo.
