---Do they suffer an eternity of torment for their evil lives? Possibly as tortured slaves of the gods they followed, or cast to drift in the warp/realm of chaos, constantly hunted by demons for rest of time? Warhammer's version of Hell.

---Are they rewarded for their devotion to their god in some form? Perhaps become demonic soldiers so they can serve their god forever. Or even sent to their god's version of Heaven (constant war for followers of Khorne, huge libraries for followers of Tzeentch.... obvious benefits for followers of Slaanesh.) But then I wonder what followers of Chaos Undivided, like Word Bearers, would receive.

---Do their souls simply meld with their god, destroying their individuality, but becoming part of the god they worshipped and strengthening that god.

I'm sure there are many more possibilities, but those were the most likely to me. I believe the vast majority of chaos followers suffer for the rest of eternity, not for being evil, but for failing their gods in some way. However, a few, the truly succesful, have their essences join their god when they die. What do you think? I imagine they become part of his collective might, much like a Eldar Exarch armour, only on a HUGE scale.

Although we know that most CSM are really more interested in a more literal sense of immortality by being elevated into deamonhood.

The novel "daemon world" backs this up when the slaaneshi queen dies and eagerly awaits the eternal bliss of death only to realise that its all a lie and instead it's the cold embrace of nothingness that takes her which is obviously the worst feeling to a being that thrives on sensation.
