I want an Avatar that is distinctive, imposing, and an Abomination.
Since it can't be part of a battle-group, I'm giving myself a little more freedom with the design. Who says Menoth's form on Caen needs to be 100% mechanikal?

Add to that, Menoth is not a gentle God. If he did have an organic Avatar, I Imagine it would not be pretty.

The plan is to cover over all the pins with tentacle strings of epoxy putty.
Simple enough to move from this "assembled" state to a final version.

Remaining challenges: moulding a tentacle "hand" to clutch the butterknife of doom.
finding somewhere to put that shield.

When working with epoxy putty, you can control the hardening time and overall firmness by adjusting the ratios of putty. The "skeleton" putty (the thick section attached directly to the pin) should be soft, allowing easier adherence of the "muscle" putty, which should be much firmer, to prevent easy crushing.

Despite the interesting features of the model, there is still a lot that has to be done with paint.
Getting primer between all the tiny strands is going to be a challenge. Plan: many many very light coats.
