Large Scale Washes?

I'm building a Cities of Death board using several Pegasus terrain sets and I plan on having the buildings be a light tan stone. To achevieve some depth and texture I want to use brown washes for the buildings. Similarly I have several tanks and super heavies I'd like to wash with something like Badab black. Rather than use 100x pots of Devlan Mud or Badab Black I was hoping that someone might have an alternative for these washes to use on larger projects and how best to apply them?

Can you get the Liquitex Soft Acrylics at Michaels?

EDIT: looks like you can. On a side note, do you just use them straight out of the pot or water them down?
