				<description><![CDATA[ They look nice, I know nothing about 15mm historical but still nice models.  Those beards look so small to paint.<br /> <br /> The only criticism I would add is that you can see a hard edge of what I assume is base on some of the cavalry.  Couldn't you have smoothed that into the big base with a little putty or something?  Would look a lot better.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I could smooth the bases in but this is one of those armies that is intended to be viewed as a whole rather than base by base.  In practice, across all those bases, that would be another hour or two's work that, frankly, I'm not being paid for.<br /> <br /> If this army were being painted at a higher quality than tabletop, I'd smoother bases in a bit.<br /> <br /> I've got the rest of the army being painted by one of my freelancers, so I'll post up the peltasts, psiloi and hoplites when I've got them back.<br /> <br /> R.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Finally got hold of replacements for the decals I lost and finished the Hoplites:<br /> <br /> <center><a href="http://www.dakkadakka.com/gallery/251859-15mm%2C%20Antiquitatis%2C%20Bellis%2C%20Dba%2C%20Hoplite%2C%20Macedonian.html" target="_new" rel="nofollow"><img src="http://images.dakkadakka.com/gallery/2011/7/27/251859_sm-15mm%2C%20Antiquitatis%2C%20Bellis%2C%20Dba%2C%20Hoplite%2C%20Macedonian.jpg" border="0" /></a></center><br /> <br /> A note on the decals, which are from <a href="http://www.littlebigmenstudios.co.uk/catalog/" target="_new" rel="nofollow">Little Big Men Studios</a> (be careful searching for "Little Big Men" on Google!):  these aren't your usual decals.  These come with a plastic film on top.  You cut out the decal to precisely the shape that you want, plastic film and all.  You then peel off the film (I had to use sticky tape to get the film off, as it's very fiddly) and press the (sticky) face of the decal to the relevant surface.  Finally, dab water or (in my case) MicroSol to the paper back of the decal and, after a couple of seconds, the paper simply slides off leaving your decal fixed to the surface.<br /> <br /> The fix is surprisingly secure and the decals adhered to the slightly curved surface of the shields without any trouble at all.<br /> <br /> R.]]></description>
