I'm an absolute Malifaux nut! Love the game and I encourage everyone to try it out.

Anyway, my first real foray into miniature wargaming was back in Middle/High School for me when I got the 40k 3rd edition boxed set. I played Space Marines, though I did more painting/modelling than I did playing, since as you can imagine, a middle/high school kid doesn't exactly have the funds for 40k. Now, close to 10 years later I'm getting back into 40k. Now I tend to play the more sinister factions (Neverborn in Malifaux, Cryx in Warmachine, etc) so when I decided to get back into 40k I decided to do Dark Eldar. And, sure you're right about middle/high school kid's funds for 40k. I remember it was hard to have something that even looks like an army, ten years ago...
