Haemoculus
succubus

elite:
10 hekatrix bloodbrides

troops:
4 companies of kabalites (10 models each, including sybarite)
3 companies of wyches (10 models each, including hekatrix)
5 wracks (troop chois, thanks to haemonculus)

fast attack:
10 hellions incl. 1 helliarch
6 reavers incl. arena champion

transport:
8 dark eldar raiders. (one for each company of kabalites and wyches, one for the hekatrix bloodbrides)

heavy support:
2 ravagers
1 razorwing jetfighter.



this is the army im planning to build.

1) Get the Haemonculus some Wargear.
2) Lose the Succubus.
3) Drop the Bloodbrides in favor of some Trueborn with Blasters.
4) It looks like you have 8 troops. I run 3 10-man Wych squads (with Haywire Grenades) and 3 5-man Warrior squads in Venoms. Don't forget special weapons.
5) Lose the champions on the Warriors and Reavers
6) I don't like Hellions. I'd use those points elsewhere.
7) Don't forget Flickerfields on your Raiders / Ravagers!

Hellions are just too easily shot down and generally outclassed by Wyches in my opinion.

I will say that if you do use the Succubus, get her an Agoniser. Looks like you have eyed the boxes/models but have no codex and are fishing for points values.

If you lurk the other DE threads, they ought to be enough to get you in the ball-park without us giving away GW's Intellectual Property.

Get your haemy with 4 wracks in a venom, speed them right across the map and drop a portal in your victims face. On come those expensive HBB's and succubus, armed to the teeth with, what, about 40 attacks on the charge, with re-rolls? With them being expensive units you dont want them getting chewed up inturn 1 should you not make the first move. Also try to keep your haemy-venom out of your opponents heavy weapon LOS, just in case, otherwise everything goes knacker up.

I feel your pain on the hellions, I got a squad, and was advised to leave them out of my list. I think their biggest use is getting a tough IC out of special rule giving range to allow your other units chew through whatever they were near by. That and dropping them infront of your geared up, huskblade totting Archon with soul trap.
