apocalypse datasheets

Looking at getting a few mates around for my b-day for a game of apocalypse, got a great missus, it will be the first game of apocalypse for us all, and a long time coming.

Quick question though. I was looking at taking the Lord Castellan's supreme command datasheet, and the Imperial shield infantry company datasheet. I was having problems wrapping my head around them when it finally occured to me they were for last edition, (the heroic senior officer gave it away). So this brought up a couple of new questions, where does one get the erratas for these datasheets, and/or are these datasheets still usable. And can one of the company commands from the Lord Castellan's supreme command be the one used in the Imperial shield infantry company datasheet?

Either way can't wait to use all my models in my imperial guard collection. And it will be interesting to see if I still have an understanding missus after she realises how long an apocalypse game goes for, considering how long a standard game takes when me and three or of my mates get together to play

Cheers

Welcome! There unfortunately isn't really any errata for those datasheets, at least, not that I'm aware of. You could either try to use the old units from the old IG codex, and just reconcile the rules issues should they arise, or you could errata the sheet yourself. It's Apoc, after all, and generally taken to a certain level of "friendly play" that would allow for such additions.

Yeah, I would just suggest checking with your friends first. People are normally fine with that sort of thing and more so in Apocolypse. Its much the same for other things in the apocolypse rules that just havent been re-written yet. My Tyranid Malenthrope for example has Warp Field just like my Zoanthropes... but his is a lot worse since they changed the rules for the Warpfield in the 5th Ed Tyranid Codex. I still have to use him the way he is in the old rules because his points cost would probably be different, same with the Scythed Heirodule and how his double set of Scything talons work.

I just go by how its written in those books until they re-release those creatures again. Thats a fair point though, they dont really re-release the battle formations do they?
