Practice will make it better, as you will get used to the way the paints work when applying them.

Now that this is out of the way, I'd like to say that that is an outstanding paint scheme. If I'm being honest, that may be the most intimidating modeling/painting job on a Daemon Prince that I've ever seen. For the bone, I'd reccommend some Devlan Mud wash, and some asuremen blue wash for the blue areas, but Badab Black may work as well. Badab Black on all the metallics and in the deepest recesses and some eyes and he'll be ready for war!

After washing, I'd recommend a light drybrushing or highlight of the base color to really make it pop; for battle damage, take a dark color (not black) like Charadon Granite and make a few marks here and there, paint some metal in the middle of the biggest ones, and highlight the BOTTOM of these chips and viola! battle damage!]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/379752/3090057.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/379752/3090057.page GMT WIP Chaos Space Marines - Bone Fiends IG
