I've been reading this forum a while now and thought it was about time to sign up! I'm quite new to the hobby and am more interested in the painting side of things, although I do love making army lists. I am looking to play a bit, but don't have a FLGS within an easy distance from where I live. And I'd like to have a cool looking army more than a competitive one

I do have a problem though... I don't know which army to collect first! I have Dark Eldar and Tau and 500 points, but then I saw Eldar.. and I don't know which to take up to 1000 points. I'm a lover of bright colours but also love the fluff behind all 3 armies and the Dark Eldar models are just awesome. I'm going to try to decide before tomorrow when I'll be going into town (London ) where there will be a store.

Eldar are good fun to paint, all the aspects being different colours keeps it interesting. They are suffering a bit competitively speaking at the moment, but if that doesn't bother you, I strongly suggest you consider them. I would like to start Eldar... bah, I have this problem in games too. Never get far in a game because I'm too busy rerolling and doing the same stuff over and over again until I get bored. I fear that'll happen here too and I'll forever be stuck in the realm of the 500 points army (Thank goodness I don't like the Imperium, or that would take forever).

Ooh I also need an avatar too. This forum doesn't have it's own basic ones to choose from? More choices!
