GKPA's will be your standard fire support + controlling enemies deepstrikers.]]></description>

Overall the list is decent, but there are a few small wargear and unit changes that would improve the list a lot.<br /> <br /> <br /> 1) I like how your strike squads are set up.  That is exactly how I would take them.<br /> <br /> <br /> 2) I would drop the Normal Terminators on foot for more Strike Squad Guys.  The foot terminators (or deep striking i guess) are not really adding much to the list.<br /> <br /> <br /> 3) ONLY 10 man squads get Psybolt ammo.  NEVER on a 5 man squad.  You are paying 20 pts for 3 paladins to get a S5 storm bolter.  Just not worth it.<br /> Also, the Psybolt ammo is too expensive for the Storm raven.  Just take an Assault Cannon and a Multi-Melta and be done with it.<br /> <br /> <br /> 4) Paladins NEED strong <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(162);'>Inv</span> Saves and Wound Allocation (each model is different so each one can take one wound before you remove a model) Here is my recommended setup<br /> <br /> Psycannon and Sword<br /> Psycannon and Hammer<br /> Sword<br /> Hammer<br /> Stave<br /> <br /> Why no halberds? Well.<br /> <br /> <br /> 5) I think you should change the Grand Master to a Librarian.  With Quicksilver, your paladins can hit first and still have the 4++ save in combat for protection.  With Might of Titan, no Walker can tie you up in combat.  Sanctuary lets you assault more and is bad for horde units that want to charge you and tie you up.  Sanctuary helps to protect you from AP2 shooting.<br /> <br /> You do not have a lot of units that would benefit from grand strategy as you would have 3 10 man troops units (if you take my suggestions), and nothing that would really benefit from scout moves or your other options.<br /> <br /> <br /> 6) Lastly, your venerable dread SHOULD have 2x Auto-cannons and Psybolt ammo. (maybe you could even take 2 Normal Dreads in that configuration instead)<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> NEED SHOOTING <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(482);'>AT</span> MORE THAN 24"<br /> your only have a few good options for this. Just not worth it.</div></blockquote><br /> <br /> I actually exchanged the terminators for a unit of purifiers, main reason is this allowed me to use the raven to transport the Paladins and then I could deep strike the terminators, I was actually considering adding in a unit of 10 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(307);'>PAGK</span> in a rhino but its going to hurt my wallet abit much, as for the psy ammo I had been thinking that was a waste, I was considering dropping the Paladins and just taking a unit of 10 terminators, I would then combat squad them, one with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(524);'>GM</span> in raven and the other deep striking.<br /> <br /> <blockquote class="uncited"><div>Also, the Psybolt ammo is too expensive for the Storm raven. 				<description><![CDATA[ like i said the other good options for long range shooting is a Razorback.<br /> <br /> You can consider having one for your purifier squad.   Heavy Bolter and Psybolt Ammo is good as it is cheap and hits at 36"<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> The only thing I forgot to mention of the librarian is that they go with stormraven as well. you can go flat out for a 3+ cover save, and since the storm raven will have a lot of target priority, it might be good to make it more durable.<br /> <br /> Grand strategy is good for the paladins and purifiers as well.  Counter attack is nice for both, as it scoring if you are only going to have 2 troops base.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> go for the cool looking forgeworld stuff. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ You've used librarians before, but a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>gk</span> librarian is a different animal. Super assaulty and durable, equipped with a warding stave, attached to paladins, jumping out of a storm raven, giving the entire squad initiative 10, and +1str; it's amazing.<br /> <br /> My Favorite set up for a 5 pal+lib is <br /> Lib with stave, sanct, shroud, quicksilver, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>Mot</span>, and sometimes warp rift<br /> 1 pal with psycannon/hammer<br /> 1 pal with psycannon/banner<br /> 1 pal with falchions<br /> 1 pal with sword <br /> 1 pal with halberd<br /> <br /> It's a ton of attacks at high <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> (6)  with good penetration mostly at <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(74);'>init</span> 10.  <br /> <br /> Sometimes I feel saucy and play an extra falchion.  <br /> <br /> Those guys, assaulting out of a stormraven is a win.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ hah no I know how good they are but its seems like every list is either a Lib, Draigo or Cowel, I fancied something different is all!<br /> <br /> So what would people think if I just went with a big unit of 10 Paladins, combat squaded them and had 5 + character in the Raven and the other 5 deep strike? or went for the cheap option and just had 10 terminators doing the same? would allow me to take advantage of psybolt ammo on both units for half the price.<br /> <br /> Also do you think banner is really worth it considering one guy loses his power weapon attacks?<br /> <br /> <blockquote><div><cite>svendrex wrote:</cite>Grand strategy is good for the paladins and purifiers as well.
