However, I got distracted with a cross-country move and a lot of other projects, so she languished for a while. Last week, though, an impending Apocalypse game provided the motivation I needed to finish it. Here are some Pre-painted shots:







These sweet-looking nozzles came from an old F/A-18 Hornet kit (as did the bombs and weapons pylons).





The pylons are magnetized, so that I can take either bombs or missiles.



I made the pilot using the "crouched" IG tank commander body, with a spare head I had from the Valkerie frame.



Here is a size comparison next to one of my LRBTs. I tried to make it as large as the FW one, and it came out pretty big.



The paint scheme is a basic two-tone scheme based off the US Navy's modern tactical scheme.









So that's about it! At some point in the future, I may revisit this model to add some weathering. For now though, I'm just happy to have it up to a tabletop standard. Thanks! Actually, I used these miniature wooden flowerpots I found at a craft store. The edges of some of the plates look a little burred from where you have cut them... always a good idea to shave or sand these down before assembly. And it could use some rivets...

But it's a solid model.
