Super/CA Glue and "De-Bonder" experiences?

I am about to take delivery of a large quantity of plastic minis that were assembled using CA (Super) glue.
However I love converting and such and I have always used "plastic glue", usually Testors because it works well and I actually like that it kind of melts the plastic as it bonds.
The guy is including a bottle of "Superglue Disolver" so I can disassemble stuff.

I am wondering if anyone has any experience with this stuff, like how well does it remove the glue? What kind of residue does it leave behind?
Will it remove big thick clumps?

Although I don't have any experience with superglue dissolver I'm guessing that it might contain acetone? (see what it says on the bottle) which should do the trick and shouldn't leave any residue. I'd try it out on one of the more disposable minis first using the instructions and if that doesn't work go for the acetone nail varnish remover option which is cheap and effective. But! be aware that it will melt plastic if left to soak for too long so once again experiment; don't leave any mini in the soak for longer than an hour and rinse thoroughly with water before leaving to dry. Hope that this is of some help.

Fingernail polish remove contains diluted acitone which will dissolve the superglue fairly quickly. Acitone can be bad for plastic but just don't soak your miniatures in it and you'll be fine.
