1/76 is WAYYYY too small. That scale, while slightly smaller, is used mostly in 20mm wargaming alongside 1/72 scale, which is just right for 20mm. A 1/76 tank would be smaller in size than a Marine landspeeder. You want more along the lines of 1/48 or 1/35 scale.

Ghidorah

WW1 tanks for IG army

Most 1:35 scale tanks are too big, apart from small vehicles such as early World War II models... well, perhaps Pz.Kpfw. III might be small enough, but on the other hand it looks too modern due to torsion bar suspension. Mark I would be too big, definitely... maybe Whippet or Renault FT would fit the bill, but they are not exactly easy to come by. In 1:48 scale, the situation is much worse. Basically, there are no tanks available apart from World War II ones, and none of them look "at home" in the grim darkness of the far future (at least as far as Imperial Guard is concerned).

Assuming you are fine with following the herd and sticking to the aesthetic of GW IG. Which is just fine, naturally. If the price is comparable and you want to stand out, these would really make your army stand out.

Ghidorah
