To be honest, though, I haven't seen a lot of evidence of this schism "on the ground," as it were. About the worst I've encountered are a few players saying they don't play GW games anymore because they are too broken, but hey, to each his own. I think this has a lot of regionality to it. In my area, we have a lot of "only GW" or "only Privateer" dudes. Bear in mind the schism is also a great deal more present on some other fansites (particularly BoLS) as well. As with any editorial, YMMV simply because of personal experience. I just like painting and building minis, so I'm not married to any one system.

The freewrite articles usually start as a stream of consciousness, and then I work them up into coherent articles; most of the time they begin as a paragraph I wrote in my journal, and are then expanded upon at a later date, or simple notes that I've jotted down and done the same with.

@biccat -- Duly noted. I've never actually messed with the font size on any of them, and think they're actually about the same as here. Perhaps it is the black on the white? I'd love more feedback on that so we can adjust accordingly!

It looks like around size 9 on my screen, whereas Dakka is about size 12.

Regional differences could very well be a factor, although my experiences do include Seattle, San Diego, and Virginia, so who knows? Maybe I'm just not good at noticing such things
