3 Questions: Honor Guard & Reserves

1) I am fully aware I can take one honor guard per HQ, even for the Sanguinor and Mephiston (that can't join them). However, if I take Honor Guard because I have a Librarian, is there any rule that indicates he has to join them? I plan to take take 5 Honor Guard with 4 Meltaguns for tank-hunting and attach my Librarian to an entirely separate squad. As far as I'm aware, this is completely legal.

2) Is there any generally accepted order to reserves? By the RAW, it appears not. With Grey Knights, I tend to roll "down" my list in order, as I progress through it via my printout. However, once the rolls are made I've realized I'd have a distinct advantage if I bring my Outflanking unit in first, as I can subsequently know where to deep strike my Paladins. It seems a bit unfair to know which unit is coming in which side before I place my deep striking unit. By all accounts, I believe it is completely legal.

3) Additionally, must the re-roll for Descent of Angels be taken immediately? I.e. you can't roll each unit and then go "back" and decide to re-roll before actually bringing reserves onto the table.

Thanks!

As I understand it:

1) No the Librarian does not have to join the HG. (Just like a unit does not have to be deployed in their dedicated transport.)

2) pg.94 "Once all of the units have been rolled for, the player picks any one of the units arriving and deploys it,.."

3) A re-roll always has to happen immediately.

3 Questions: Honor Guard & Reserves

For 2, I personally like to place the "marker" mini for each unit that is deep-striking before I even roll for them. It may not be in the rules, but it makes more sense, and seems more fair.
