Drop the bodyguards, medic and carapace as they are in a chimera. Not sure if Straken worth the cost in a mech list.<br /> <br /> Don't take Heavy weapons in chimeras - you want the chimeras to move every turn so they are not vulnerable to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span>.<br /> <br /> No real need for a priest in the list.<br /> <br /> Single vendetta will stand out like a sore thumb - run 2 or nor at all.<br /> <br /> Hunter killer missiles at BS3 are not worth the cost.<br /> <br /> Medusa? Basic version only has 36" range - don't fancy their chances of surviving personally.]]></description>

				<title>Ard' Boyz Imperial Guard List....Need some help</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I've never seen the&nbsp;attraction of Straken. Sure for a guardsmen he's pretty evil but his buddies around him just let him down. He maybe good in combat but his mates aren't and that is his problem. The unit will just die in combat as it would shooting.<br /> <br /> You don't need heavy weaps on the Vet squads as if you move they cannot fire and you need to move to get the meltas into range.<br /> <br /> Vendettas always come in pairs like any other vehicle.<br /> <br /> Sentinels are ok but hunter killers are rubbish. I'd only take these is any points are left.<br /> <br /> Leman Russ team is just too expensive. That will be 5 plasma blasts, a large S8 blast and lascannon firing at a single unit! Plus all that is mostly anti infantry and light armour so you do not need the lascannon. I'd personally take two Executioners naked.<br /> <br /> Two Manticores for the win <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"> they can tackle vehicles just as good as Medusas <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0">]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ard boyz should be 2500 points, why take straken in a non-close combat list?  Sentinels aren't the best, only real way to use them make them scouts and out flank for side armor shots.  Your russ's are too spendy and are trying to do too much, make them bare bones or make tailored to kill something power armor/termies/armor.  What's up with the priest?  He doesn't fit in a non-blob list, too expensive for just a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 6 power fist.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Cut the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'><span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(338);'>CCS</span></span> down to just about naked then just buy some plasma guns or melta guns for them.<br /> <br /> I dont see why so many people want to put <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>ACs</span> in their vet squads that are in a chimera loaded with melta guns, just doenst make sense. The vets are there to rush with the meltas not sit with an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>. To sit there would be wasting the vets. <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(55);'>HK</span> missles are a joke, took me forever to figure that out <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>lol</span>. But now that I know they are not great I pretty much never run with them, like a previous poster has said, "Only buy <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(55);'>HKs</span> if you have extra points".<br /> <br /> Why bring the preist? your running a mech list, stick to mech dont try and diversify it.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(449);'>PBS</span> I hear are good, I've never run them personally, but I've heard great things about putting them in Chimeras.<br /> <br /> one vendetta and is just gonna get killed after one turn of shooting, pretty much garunteed.<br /> <br /> I prefer to run scout sents becuase you get to come in off the sides which opens up alot better shots. Armored sents just arnt as effective as scouts. <br /> <br /> I'd split the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(89);'>LRBTs</span> up better to have 2 seperate than 1 squad <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>Id</span> also drop the medusas for manticores. 				<description><![CDATA[ straken is a waste if you are not running blobs<br /> <br /> consider basic infantry squads, in a chimera w/ heavy bolter with an autocannon, they are very shooty stationary weapons (2X S7 3Xs6 3Xs5 shots per turn platforms that are rather cheap and will let your melta vets do what they do best which is tool around and melta stuff.<br /> <br /> priest is kind of wasteful, with an evicerator  he really doesn't do much unless you have a flood of bodies to put him with.<br /> <br /> why armored sents? most people just user unarmored ones unless they are taking plasma cannons.]]></description>

Also, you had the points all wrong for the executioner: with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(331);'>PC</span> sponsons each one is 230 pts, putting that unit of 3 to a total of 625 points.</i><br /> <br /> So yeah, streamlined and optimized, extraneous choices thrown out, more shooty, boomy goodness thrown in. 				<description><![CDATA[ Don't squadron the Vendettas. They ignore stunned with EA anyhow and makes them easier to kill. Suicide Melta isn't too efficient,  but can work. List isn't bad, except for the heavy slots and Marbo. No Manticore? Hydras?]]></description>
