Deep in the Aegis Sector an Imperial outpost on Aegis VII went dark,
the entire population of the outpost "Haven XIII" disappeared while the military was out
hunting reported activity of "Xeno Attacks" on nearby villages. There was a small regiment
of Imperial Guard of the 37th Trueborn consisting of 50 Guardsmen, and 3 Hellhounds that
remained at the outpost. When the detachment returned they found a ghost town. Not
a single life signature appeared on the scanners, and there was no movement on the motion
detector's. When the detachment arrived at the HQ building they found the outposts defence.
The entire defence force had been torn apart, their heads piled infront of the HQ with their eyes
torn out.

Yet the horrors did not stop there, when a squad was sent into the HQ the power was disabled, yet
when they reached the dining room they found the bodies of all the defenders. The corpses hung above
the tables, their limp forms suspended by chains of black steel, hooks going through the base of the neck,
out the throat. Without warning they reported banging from the kitchen door, and when the squad went
in to investigate they found a single survivor, shaking and covered in blood. The Kitchen had been completely
cleaned out of any "cooking" tools and replaced with the eyes of the dead guards, fixated on the corner where
the shooken survivor sat. On the walls there was a message, scralled in blood. " The Eye of Judgment beholds the
Coward." The building was later purged by the cleansing flame of the imperium.

Several hours later men reported sights of figures, bare glimpses of Dark silver steel and rusted blades. Shortly after
these men were found without there eyes, screaming on there posts. What creatures could do this not a soul knows.
