I've never been a massive Eldar fan (though I played with the Eldar for a bit) but the Dark Eldar seemed good from what I read. I have had two proxy games with them winning one game and losing the other. With my mind made up on the units and the army itself I started collection!

My first purchases was two Venoms and a box of Kabalite Warriors. The Venoms are cool but damn those Warriors are annoying! I next splashed out and picked up a box of Hellions (counts as Beastmasters) two Ravagers and another three Venoms, I do have another four on order btw, I also got some Dire Wolves for counts as Khymerae which I will be converting.

I managed to build the below so far, though all the aboe I managed to get built last night for a game tonight.





Next I started working on a simple Razorwing Flock conversion. Basically the flock is the undercarriage blades from the vehicles joined together, this one is just a example and needs tarting up a bit.



I also painted this test Warrior to see a colour scheme. I was thinking necron abyss with tentacle pink armour plates, but in the end I used ultramarine blue and dwarf bronze which gives the Dark Eldar a 'I'm better than you' look. I washed the model with badab black and devlan mud to darken it.
