Also, I recently raided the back room of my Friendly Local Gaming Store for old "classic looking" miniatures for use in D&D games. They brought me out a box covered in dust that probably hadn't been touched since the late 90s, and it included a ton of awesome (but usually kind of corny looking) figures from Ral Partha and Rafm. If you've got a gaming shop in your area that has been around for a long time, I would check them out to see if they have OOP figures in their store room.
