The hull of my Thunder Hawk is nearly done and I am going to be mounting the wings soon. There isnt enough resin to pin and the parts are rather heavy so I fear superglue wont be up to the task. Any ideas on strong bonding glue that would work?

Doesn't so much glue stuff as it sets hard as a rock. Roughly sand where you are glueing, apply the epoxy to both surfaces. Things such as nails can be inserted into the wet epoxy to add strength.

If you find too runny to use, keep poking it with a tooth pick until it becomes think enough, just be careful as it may start to start congealing quickly. Despite how think you put it on it will still harden all the way though.

There are varying types and dry times, I suggest a standard 5 minute epoxy (turns think in 5 minutes rather then dry in 5 minutes), and it can be found at most craft, hardware and hobby stores. Don't ever do this..the Green stuff never dries...the Super glue seals it so the GS doesn't dry. I have seen it done and its bad. After a year we found a model that someone did like that and the Green stuff was still plyable.
