				<description><![CDATA[ Hello all,<br /> I am trying to get back into Hordes and I have been reading a lot of battle reports here and noticed a number of situations where Warlocks are cutting for Fury.  Looking at their lists I am also seeing that they only have 3 Warbeasts max.  So I got to thinking why not bring more Warbeasts to the table so that you do not need to cut for Fury?  I know that managing Fury could be difficult but what if you were to use a Wave approach.  One wave of managed fury goes into the thick of battle, dies, second wave goes in etc.  ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Some players do do this. I know my mate uses a gorax sitting at the back as it's a 4 fury beast. However, most beasts are expensive and if you pay 8+ points for something, your gonna be needing to use it somewhere.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Not many people like to take lots of warbeast just for the fact that they might frenzy. Also not all warbeast can deal with infantry. I play gators and all I bring are the 3 warbeast we have.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Circle can do well with beasts. Especially considering constructs don't frenzy, and you have some fury management with the Stones. Baldur does well with the construct beasts, and some casters like Morshar and Krueger don't care what you bring.<br /> I play trolls myself, and I run an Earthborn, an Axer, an Impaler and usually either a bouncer or a pyre troll at 35 points. It can get a little hairy with fury management at times, but I also find having a bunch of beasts can be very useful.]]></description>

The thing you need to make sure you are doing is not to over-stretch your resources, and to make sure at the same time that what you go after dies, as what's doing the killing might not be coming back.<br /> <br /> My own lists i actually tend to run 4 or more beasts (3 heavies, 1 light).  This is because Circle beasts tend to have lots of good animi, and we don't support our troops all that well save with some casters, or we give a lot of efficiency to our beasts.  Epic Kaya, Baldur, and Kromac, for instance, all have ways of making beasts more efficient.  Epic Krueger protects our beasts.  Both Kruegers speed them up.  And so on.<br /> <br /> Fury management is best done with things like the Wilder, Stones, or Gorax Frenzies.  The last is actually something that Circle has used since early MkI days.  <br /> <br /> With Circle, remember that a lot of the point of your own infantry is to tie-up their infantry.  But Circle, with things like Blackclads, the Lord of the Feast, White Manes, Bloodtrackers with Nuala, Bloodweavers, Pureblood Warpwolf sprays, Warpwolf Stalker berserks, casters with spells like Hellmouth, feats like Seeds of Destruction and Lightning Storm, and Geomancy with spells like Crevasse, Chain Lightning, Earth Spikes, and Eruption of Life, has no shortage of methods of killing stuff en-masse on individual models.  You can take a lot of good solos and a unit that do a lot of that for you.  You can than focus your force on dabblign a bit on that, and still being able to crack high armor.<br /> <br /> It also is very caster dependent, mind.  I note that I run on average 4 beasts.  That's average.  Right nwo it's Cassius, Baldur, pKaya and Morvahna i run 3.  Both Kruegers, Kromac, Grayle I run 4.  And right now with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(364);'>eKaya</span> I run 6 (including the one she comes with).  So all of this is dependent on your caster, what you want to do and how you want to play them.  Remember that in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(197);'>WM</span>/H, your caster mixes things up quite a bit, and so you will have different ways to manage fury and army tempo as a result.<br /> <br /> And stuff.]]></description>
