You roll on a table and that tells you how many pieces of terrain and what type you need to place.

But there aint nothing stopping you from just setting up terrain in a way that looks cool and will provide a good game.

Re:Setting the Battle Field?

We usually decide upon the amount of terrain, then take turns to set it up, and finally roll off to deside what board edge we begin at.

I find that 3-5 pieces is about the amount a good game needs. The amount suggested in the BRB is to my mind a joke.

I usually pic 5 or 6 pieces of terrain, place one at a time in the middle of the table, and then roll 4d6 and the scatter dice to determine where on the table it will stand.
