				<description><![CDATA[ Then they die D: Tactic with them is to just come on from reserve and grab objectives, hide if 4 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(588);'>Psyfledreads</span> around, and jump out into cover, or on top of a bastion etc, if needed to shoot, as they are very weak, only requires 2 deaths for whole squad to flee at LD7, squad of 12 needs 3 deaths to flee, so thats why such small squads, so they dont become useless!]]></description>

Ditto re; 6 man squads.<br /> <br /> If you get crazy, practice multiple tank shocks.<br /> <br /> <br /> You're prob gonna need your Shas'<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(555);'>el</span> to baby sit your pathfinders for a bit (give him a target lock).<br /> <br /> If you get good mileage out of them, keep- otherwise you may be losing synergy (with everything mobile, but them static).<br /> <br /> You won't regret having the multi-tracker on the hammerheads (or at leas one). Brutal.. just brutal]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Eerily similar to my 1750 list... STAY OUT OF MY GOOGLE DOCS CYBER TERRORIST!<br /> <br /> But really, 1750 is where Tau shine ever so brightly.<br /> <br /> One thing I see about the list is that the pathfinder fish doesn't have anyone to jump into it. That is a great way to save some points. You could even break the pathfinders into two smaller groups of 4 and shift another DF from the firewarriors. I often do this because even in bigger groups, they are still <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> 7 and ridiculously fragile. Smaller squads are less afraid to go to ground. Besides, more than 2-3 marker hits are really a waste most of the time anyway.<br /> <br /> Oh, also, hammerheads have to take a secondary weapons, burst cannons are usually best. They should also take a multi tracker. 				<description><![CDATA[ Your Shas'<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(555);'>el</span> seems way too expensive; get rid of the Stimulant Injector, drop the Shield Drones and take a single Gun Drone instead.<br /> Drop all the Shield Drones on the Crisis Suits and take Gun Drones instead. Think about it; there is nothing that a Shield Drone does for a Crisis Suit that Gun Drone cannot also do (assuming cover), where as the Gun Drone is cheaper and can fire a weapon.<br /> Drop one of the Flamers on the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(558);'>Deathrain</span> teams and replace it with a Drone Controller, saving you 9 points per squad.<br /> <br /> Why no drones on the Broadsides? I'd take a drone with T4/3+/4++ over assumed cover any day, because there's a lot a shield drone does for you that a gun drone does not <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"> while you may as well throw the gun drone at the enemy, because the gun will do less damage.<br /> <br /> Other than that, this looks very similar to my 1500 as well... I'd follow the earlier advice about the pathfinders and devilfish, that will free up a lot of points for you to play with. As said, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(389);'>BCs</span> on the hammerheads, multi-trackers are pretty much essential equipment (just like a dispod) on them, other than that it looks nicely done.]]></description>

A couple more small tweaks that can effectively use up those last couple of points.<br /> <br /> Broadside team leaders can also take a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HW</span> target lock so the squad can shoot at two different targets (useful for taking out all those rhino or chimera chassis some armies bring).<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(557);'>Fireknife</span> suits are wayyy more expensive than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(558);'>deathrains</span> and also tend to play more aggressively due to their rapid fire weaponry, thus they should generally be given drones. I often give the team leader a targeting array as well, just to make them slightly less markerlight dependent.<br /> <br /> Finally, a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(557);'>fireknife</span> shas'<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(555);'>el</span> usually is worth a targeting array, rather than twin linking the missile pods. And if he is going with the other fireknives, he probably doesn't need a target lock.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ If you are going to pile Fire Warriors into the Pathfinders' Devilfish, you might as well take a squad or two of Kroot, instead of at least one squad of Fire Warriors. Kroot serve a lot of purposes, and Fire Warriors really are a mediocre unit.]]></description>

In addition, they have an armor save for when explosions happen. Kroot are more efficient per model, however, and can give a 20x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 4 rapid fire as opposed to a 12x <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 5 rapid fire when they are required to jump out.]]></description>

Generally, crisis suits always want to be on the board, doing damage every turn, only closing when the enemy is weakened.<br /> <br /> Generally, you don't want fire warriors outside of a transport, they are too fragile. Kroot are less so, but still have low <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> and toughness so they generally want to either stay in cover or inside vehicles themselves.<br /> <br /> Shield drones are generally best on broadsides, as they get that sweet 2+ armor save. That way you dont have to put <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(269);'>ID</span> missile shots on broadsides, where a roll of 1 will kill suits.]]></description>
