And to get this thread started properly, here are the finished ships of the first three types:

Here are all the cruisers:



Two of the Cruisers can have their prow armour removed.  All of the modules on these ships are removable and interchangeable (magnetized).

These are the Frigates/Escorts:



Again, the modules are all removable and can be swapped out or switched.  I'm just missing a few turrets (EDIT - literally, as I typed "turrets", the ones a friend was sending dropped through the door, but I'm not taking the photos again!).

And the Destroyers:



These don't have any swapability, although I had fun making them all distinct.

@ChaoticMind - I am looking at several possible avenues of extracting some commercial use from these models. There is a definite plan to put them up for sale in the near-future, but I think the chassis themselves will need considerable additional work and then re-casting - I've had to heavily modify all of these even notwithstanding the addition of GW parts to get them to work fully. Also, some of them are a royal pain to assemble.

I'm looking into selling the designs to an established independent model retailer, but in the event that they aren't interested, I'll develop the chassis to make them easier to assemble, more detailed in execution, and pre-cut to accommodate the use of 3mmx1mm round neodymium magnets to maximize their flexibility.
