				<description><![CDATA[ So this has no pictures so I will describe this dont worry it is not a long read I promise.<br /> <br /> So the list in rough:<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>Woc</span><br /> Some sort of lord on foot with glaive  of putrefaction helm of many eyes tali of pres.<br /> <br /> Sorcerer lord shadows <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 4 <br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2 tz sorcerer<br /> power familiar<br /> something else<br /> <br /> One of these had puppet.<br /> <br /> 50 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>Mot</span> warriors shields fc rap standard.<br /> <br /> 50 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>mok</span> maruaders fc <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>gw</span>.<br /> <br /> 3x 5 hounds <br /> <br /> hellcannon<br /> <br /> sorcerer lord and combat lord in warriors unit<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2 in marauders<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(418);'>Tk</span><br /> <br /> 100 skeles spears fc light armor and shields i think<br /> <br /> 2 war sphinx <br /> <br /> 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(418);'>tk</span> armor of silvered steel I think<br /> liche priest tali of pres<br /> prince armor of fortune<br /> necro tek <br /> lvl2 on horse possibly with stuff<br /> <br /> 9 horsemen <br /> <br /> 4 charriots<br /> <br /> casket of souls<br /> <br /> So everything goes in the big skele unit except the priest on horse.<br /> <br /> So the spells are all skele ones are the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(418);'>tk</span> lore a few from lore of shadow for warriors and flickering fire and gateway for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2.<br /> <br /> Basic battle line.<br /> <br /> Looking from behind the chaos lines at the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(418);'>tk</span> from left to right  left side 2 war sphinx in the middle the big block of stuff with the casket behind it  horses to the right of that with chariots ont the right flank.<br /> <br /> Chaos left flank hellcannon left middle marauder block middle middle warrior block right some hounds.<br /> <br /> Turn 1 goes to chaos.<br /> <br /> Everything shuffles up dogs make sure that if they get charged they will make the units expose their flanks.<br /> <br /> Magic 7 or so dice.<br /> <br /> 5 into gate way at the large skele block rolls 24 with the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2 he throws all 5 of his dispel dice at it  rolls like 15 and it goes through.<br /> Rolls a 9 for hits all the chaos supporters are chanting like crazy at this point.<br /> Boom box cars and they called it at that point.<br /> Epic win chaos.<br /> Hope you enjoyed <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0">]]></description>

Can't say I blame the Warriors player at all, that was really one of the only ways he was going to kill that unit and its the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(418);'>TK</span> players fault for bringing a list which is really easy to counter.]]></description>

This is a pretty good example of how deathstar builds - giant pointsink unit filled with characters - have inherent weaknesses, besides all the love 8th has given them.  There are the tactical shortcomings - it can only fight so many units, and is easily redirected - and then there is the surprising vulnerability to auto-kill or unit-kill spells.  Gateway did exactly what it ought to do here: punish the other dude for making himself such an easy, obvious target.<br /> <br /> That said, I would have preferred that somehow it was the warrior guy's deathstar that got vaporized in one go.  50 rapturous tizz warriors loaded with characters is pretty disgusting, and in a barely legal army at that (i.e. min 3 units + characters)!  Baring <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>LD</span> shenanigans of some kind (LD9 with rerolled panic covers most your bases, but no <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> still seems dicey), I'm pretty sure the skellies would have been rolled if they ever let those warriors hit them ... Nothing changes the expression on your opponents face like clearing half of their army in one round. To be honest, nothing should be that game changing... It ruins all tactical elements of the game and replaces them with a dash of luck.]]></description>

I did see a pretty solid <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(48);'>GT</span> tweak recently where if you roll S11-12, then just the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span> worth of hits in models is auto-removed.  Still strong, but leaves less bad tastes in mouths, and keeps gate from being the unit killer that it isn't (<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2D6</span> hits I find is rarely worth it unless you're feeling like the auto-die is on the way).<br /> <br /> - Salvage]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Haha nice <img src="/s/i/a/c944477abc92c1c101da485e07ff06d8.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> I have gotten it off with 11 twice never with 12.<br /> First was against a bret questing or grail knight unit the really expensive ones which included a lord and a hero.<br /> The guy was telling me how chaos warriors are not as good as any of his knights so he did deserve that.<br /> <br /> The second time was against a HE player um 60 man spear men lvl4 general and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>bsb</span> I think (the mage for sure and it was the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(44);'>gen</span> and or the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>bsb</span>).<br /> <br /> But then again I have also rolled snake eyes for my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> so hey it dosnt happen all the time but its nice when it does happen.]]></description>
