Now I looked in the codex about this and it seems that if I want to put a CC weapon on my TAC Squad Sarge. I need to replace my bolt pistol with it. But in the color pictures in the back of the book I see sarges with a bolt pistol and a cc weapon too. Since he comes with both based on the Standard Wargear loadout, you can drop the boltgun, keep the bolt pistol, and pick up a CC weapon.
