				<description><![CDATA[ If he's a space marine, his stats should be S4 and T4.  There is no reason why he should be stronger or tougher than many characters already in the various codices with S4/T4.  Only the absolute strongest and toughest warrant S5/T5, which is the realm of daemon princes to put it in perspective.  <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> 8 is also too much, I'd drop it to 7.<br /> <br /> Honestly, any space marine special character should start from the standard Captain stat line and only add points if you really want to make him expensive.  So if you buff his <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span>, attack value and wounds, you're already looking at a really expensive character with basic wargear, let alone a super thunder hammer or super power weapon.  If you keep the wounds and attacks as is, he could be reasonably priced at about 250pts, but I'd play it safe and bump it up a little to 260-265 with his special rules.<br /> <br /> The farmers sickle is overpowered, assuming it works like blood talons in C:<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span>.  There's no need to bring in another weapon into the game that makes a mockery of hordes.  Just make it an equivalent to a pair of lightning claws that can re-roll hits and wounds.<br /> <br /> Just my thoughts, but as your rules stand, he'd be worth 300+ points.<br /> <br /> *EDIT* Just saw eternal warrior...yeah...if you want him to be around 250pts, you should drop that as well.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd say he's a bit undercosted, perhaps 275? I think a free thunderhammer which doesn't necessarily strike last and auto-rends (basically) could just cost some points and you could leave him at about 250. Also, aren't custodian jump packs kind of a one boost wonder? I think in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(320);'>HH</span> book I read he uses a teleporter or jump pack, why not make it kind of like the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> interceptors, but just  give him the one jump. He will move as normal infantry, but he can leap around once a game to hit something juicy. <br /> And he's a cool character. But fluff...wasn't Valdor a custodian? the highest custodian? Shouldn't he have a bad-ass halberd-bolter hybrid, or even a sword...I've never seen in any fluff a custodian bearing a hammer, but my fluff knowledge doesn't go as far back as some people here. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ he is part of the adeptus custodes so i thought t5 and s5 would be fair. i think ur right about the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>ws</span> though<br /> and i LOVE the idea of a 1 jump jump pack, very rough and brutish. buuuutttt...... rly kinda kills his playablity (i play him in an army playing with blood angel rules)<br /> also in my fluff hes moved on from the adeptus custodes. hes grand comrade of the new red army <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"><br /> i assume alot of my fluff contradicts with canon stuff. but PFFFF its just a game right? haha<br /> also in comparison to mephiston he still seems to fight fairly, his one addition is the jump pack and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(162);'>inv</span> save, but his stat line is nowhere near mephiston's]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Oh right I didn't realize you had moved him over to Blood Angels, wondered why he had Descent of Angels. That's cool then. And it can be a jump pack which allows him to benefit from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(493);'>DoA</span>, then one jump. And I think with that hammer/those uber lightning claws mixed with furious charge you can lay smack down on wherever you jump, then just walk through waist high torrents of blood till he's eventually taken down. Which sounds really cool I want to play him in a game ha]]></description>

Take away un-yielding will. take away 1 wound (3 total)<br /> <br />  keep <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> 8<br /> <br />  (custodes weren't any tougher than <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(119);'>SM</span> just better at 1v1 combat) <br /> <br /> Heck take away ALL his attacks and give him a rule similiar to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> Brotherhood Champions for attacks. 				<description><![CDATA[ To be honest, your character is pretty over-the-top... his stats are much better than your average marine, but you haven't given any real fluff reasons to explain this (you mention Mephiston, but at least he has some justification... and I'd rather fight Mephiston than your verson Valdor). You've also given him some ridiculously powerful options that make him nigh-unkillable. 				<description><![CDATA[ ah i should of explained, he can only have ONE weapon, you pick it at the beginning of the game. also yeah he has pro weapons, but it works in my fluff (i rly dont feel like explaning it here its VERY long, i may upload it sometime)<br /> and i believe what has been said last is fair. but i would rather the sickle cause more wounds then more damage. i like the idea of cutting swaths of lil gribblies. how bout give him a higher initiative and say that he can eather make his normal attacks, orrrr hit everyone automatically in basecontact like gabriel seth. and lets say 3 wounds but T 5. cuz custodes were tougher in a hourus heresy novel it was mentioned they had the build only a bit smaller than a primarch]]></description>

Just my interpretation of the character in any case.  <img src="/s/i/a/c614b4720f1b7225b0523f616ac30b2f.gif" border="0">  You can probably get away with I6 and attacking everything in base contact, and T5 but only W3, without him getting too overpowered. If you want the Sickle to be anti-horde though, you shouldn't make the extra hits cumulative since he's probably going to hit on a 3+ against pretty much everything anyway.]]></description>
