KR Multicase - A light unintentional field test.

So, I have a Warmachine game planned after work today, so I packed up my Cryx in my Kaiser Rushforth case, merrily picked it up by grasping the top of the box rather than using the handle for some reason, then lost my hasty grip and flung it across the room for an arc of a good two or three feet at a moderate speed resulting in a solid impace with the floor. Great!, thought I, a chance to test the reliability of KR's carrying case system!* To qualify, this is one of their aluminium cases, not the card ones.

*I did not actually think this. More swearing was involved.

How the case stood up:

Not a mark on it. Admittedly, it landed on carpet so scratching was unlikely, even with the bare old carpet we have in our flat. It hit corner first and there is no visible denting or structural damage to be seen.

How the miniatures fared:

Not even slight damage. The soft foam many decry as insufficient absorbed the entire of the impact. There was not breakages of joints, not scraped paint, nothing. Consider I have Satyxis raiders in there with their ridiculously weak wrist joints for their chain weapons, I am very impressed with the reliability of the protection offered by these cases.

In summary: Two thumbs up. Well done Kaiser Rushforth, my business will remain yours.

KR Multicase - A light unintentional field test.

Frightening yet encouraging. The thing I was most concerned about here was the impact of the fall. There are some pretty fragile joins on the models in there and it was gratifying to see not in the least bit of damage.
