Not only new to Orcs, but to 40K in general, though I have been playing Mordheim and Necromunda off and on for 5 or 6 years.

Would love some pointers and ideas. I'm starting with the orcs from Assault on Black Reach, but I also have a bunch of 2nd ed Boyz and Grots.

HI there. Best advice is to paint in batches of no more than 5 orks at a time. Work on same body parts on all models.

To speed up time and help with shading. Use a light green for visible skin and apply a few washes of thrakka green. Its a very quick way of shading and applying shadows to green skin.
