				<title>Advice needed on Multi-LR list weapons loadout</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Basically, the question is, if you're going to run three Land Raiders in a list (which I intend to do), is it better to run them all with the same weapons so as not to give the opponent easier target priority or is it better to give them all different weapons?<br /> <br /> 3 Land Raiders will take up a lot of points so it's likely that you'll come up short in some areas in your list and the three (official) <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> types all offer their own advantages. Personally, I'm thinking that it may be advantageous to run them all with different weapons loadouts and I also like the extra transport capacity that the Crusader brings but in terms of weaponry, i think that the Redeemer is a better infantry counter (gotta love those flamestorms) whereas the standard 2 twin linked las cannons are nothing to be sniffed at and offer great range and AP2.<br /> <br /> In case you need to know, I'll be playing this list with my purifiers (Crowe, 3 Purifier squads and 3 ven dreads) and also deathwing (I realise that there's no Redeemer in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> codex and am not fully set on my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> list yet but do wish to try more than one <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> in the list). I know it's not going to be the most rounded or competitive but it's gonna be a blast playing these lists.<br /> <br /> So, what's your thinking on this Dakka? Stick with them all being the same or mix and match? ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ When running a single <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>, I take the crusader.<br /> <br /> However, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> spam is a different animal. The variant is going to heavily depend on what you intend to put inside, and the point size of the game.<br /> <br /> Its a hard question to answer without seeing some lists, but I'd probably try to keep them cheap by running <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(475);'>LRRs</span>. Alternatively since the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LRs</span> are going to be taking up a considerable portion of your points, you might have to go with the standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> to get the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span> firepower. <br /> <br /> Depending on how the rest of the list is going to look, either go 2 and 1 or all identical. I dont see 1 of each as an option, and running multiple <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRCs</span> probably won't be as good as the other variants.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for the advice so far.<br /> <br /> The lists I'm going to use are Purifiers - 6 men in each <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span>, all with halberds and 3 Ven Dreads. I'll have a few points to play with I think if I take the Redeemer since they're cheaper in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> dex so could take some hammers but I really want to just take full halberd squads so that's why I'm thinking the standard <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> would be a good idea to bring some high strength attacks although they wouldn't help against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(67);'>ICs</span> in squads - I'd just have to hope for a few hits getting through and activating force weapons. Not great but my Purifiers should all survive to get into assault at full health and there's not many units that wouldn't lose a significant number of men to 6 halberd wielding Purifiers on the charge.<br /> <br /> As for my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> list, I currently only play at 1500 points - basically 5 termie squads, Belial and 3 Land Speeders. I'm getting the Land Raiders primarily for my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> army but intend to use them with my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> upto 2K. I don't mind dropping a squad and/or the speeders to accommodate the Land raiders but what I really, really want to try out is a squad of 5 Termies with Belial AND and Interrogator Chaplain in Termie armour assaulting out of a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> so I'd need 1 Crusader to do this, otherwise, it's a case of what would fit best. I'm kind of tempted to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> Assault three squads in on turn 1 then roll up two Land Raiders to support them just because it sounds like great fun - I'm open to ideas here anyway since my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(412);'>DW</span> list is fixed <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(258);'>atm</span> at 1500 as stated above.  ]]></description>

I would put my Belial/Chaplain squad in the Crusader though if I decided to throw in some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(80);'>LC</span>, though so thanks for reminding me. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(25);'>DA</span> can't actually take a Redeemer, though :( ]]></description>
