				<description><![CDATA[ Hi all,<br /> <br /> My Middle Son wants some advice on his Tyranid army list.<br /> <br /> <br /> Here is what he has put together so far:<br /> <br /> <br /> Hive Tyrant x 1 with Stranglethorn Cannon: 190 pts.<br /> <br /> Tervigon x3 with Toxin Sacs and Catalyst: 185 pts each (555 total).<br /> <br /> Termagaunts x20:  100 pts total<br /> <br /> Hive Guard x2: 100 pts.<br /> <br /> Zoanthorpes Brood x2: 120 pts.<br /> <br /> Tygon Prime x1: 240 pts.<br /> <br /> Tygon x1: 200 pts.<br /> <br /> I believe this puts his total at 1505 pts.<br /> <br /> Thanks for the help.]]></description>

				<title>Son wants advice on his Tyranid Army List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ He doesn't have enough gaunts to have 3 tervigons.  They are making <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(2);'>3d6</span> gaunts a turn.  That is each one.  How does he field them?  He needs some gaunts on the field to even have them as troops in his army.  He does have one <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> spot open so one can be an <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>.  Not to mention the others that he is going to create.  With 3 tervigons he would need at least 60 gaunts for creating in my opinion.  Then the ones on the field as well.  <br /> <br /> Hope this helps.]]></description>

				<title>Son wants advice on his Tyranid Army List</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hi latch66, i`ve been trying to get this codex working for a while now.<br /> Tyrants dont get much love these days which is a shame, i like them but i feel they need guard for them especially when using them as gun platforms. <br /> As for gun, yup definitley, nids need all the pinning weapons they can get.<br /> I`m still running mine with a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(443);'>hvc</span> but i`m wanting to try it with this and possibly t/l <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(29);'>devs</span> w/b-l worms.<br /> <br /> I have yet to try tervigons myself but i think 3 is just 1 too many at 1.5k pts. I`d take 1 out and split the gaunts in to 10`s giving them devourers with the points. this will give him 4 solid troops +x gaunts from tervis with synapse all over the place, rockin :-).<br /> <br /> Zoans? spot on, 3`s too expensive i feel.<br /> <br /> Hiveguard? 1 more i`ve found 2 dont quite cut it.<br /> <br /> Trygons are, in my own personal experience, the best m/c in the book, prime on both if deep striking, if moving up dont bother, adrenal glands should also be thought about.<br /> <br /> Thats my 2 cents worth on it, this looks like a killer 1.5k nid-zilla type army. 5/6 m/c in 1.5k is nasty. <br /> <br /> I wanna fight this army so much :-)]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ At 1,500 I think you would be better dropping one tervigon and beefing up the other units.<br /> <br /> 1. Tervigons to have <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(160);'>AG</span> as well as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(130);'>TS</span>.<br /> <br /> 2. Tyrant to have tyrant guard. Prefer devourers.<br /> <br /> 3. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(160);'>AG</span> on the trygons<br /> <br /> 4. 3rd zoanthrope and spore - as 2 generally miss.]]></description>

Seriously they are pretty much auto win on any nid list out there. <br /> <br /> As for the bug list itself I think it could use a few tweaks. <br /> - more hive guard for anti tank duty.<br /> - as mentioned more termagants. You also have 3 tervigons. With force org as it is you could field one as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, and the others in troops, but if go with 3 squads of 10, you can max out your troop slots. <br /> - I would drop the tyrant. <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(71);'>IMHO</span> he doesn't really bring much as a shooting platform, and without wings and gargoyle screen won't fare well as an assault beast. (since he's slow) I would suggest swapping him out for a prime. If you go with 2 tervigons in. Troops, 1 as <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, 2 termagants units of 15 each, a unit of warriors for the prime to join, you have a nice strong unit of troops. And the prime+warriors if armed with boneswords and deathspitters can do combat and shooting pretty good. <br /> <br /> Just my few bits but hopefully it allows some additnal insights. Best of luck with the bugs. They are hard to play and win with, but very fun to build and paint. Plus they have a unique style which I think is great fun to play. ]]></description>
