Have to agree with GT. Where do you get that Storm-hawk idea from?
I seem to remember it once if at all, mentioned as a vehicle. IIRC that is.

To solve this:

In orbit are the vessels of the chapter. ( Barge ,Cruiser, etc )
- they may launch droppods to get the infantry and walkers down. The pods have to be picked up later.
- they may teleport Termies
- they may field Storm Birds ( pre heresy and after that any leftover machine ) to ferry whole companies down
- they may field thunderhawks to ferry infantry and walkers down, bikes too.
- they may field thunderhawk-transports to ferry vehicles down
- they may field storm ravens to ferry a squad of infantry and a walker down.
- they may field the 'landing craft' from epic to ferry a lot of vehicles and some infantry down.
- back into orbit its one of the 'birds' dutys , be it bird,hawk or raven...

I would honestly be surprised if they could even use most of a drop pod again. Please remember that these are essentially large metal containers that are dropped from orbit. The heat ad impact would probably destroy anything on the base of the pod.
