				<description><![CDATA[ Hello,<br />   I have 2 sets of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(505);'>AOBR</span> and a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, and a Razorback...  Needless to say, I have a few Tactical Terminators... Are they worth taking, even with Lysander?  or should I get some Assault Termies and conver them?  I need a purpose for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, is there another good use besides ATs?<br /> <br /> I'm thinking of trying:<br /> <br /> Lysander<br /> Shrike<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span> Termies (5-8)<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span>. Sqd. in Razorback(<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>), <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span>/Flamer  (1 or 2)<br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span>. Sqd. in Rhino, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(563);'>MG</span><br /> Assault Squad in Rhino<br /> Assault squad w/Shrike<br /> Speeders with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(51);'>HB</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span><br /> 2 Predators with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/Las<br /> maybe sternguard or the Dreads I have from <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(505);'>AOBR</span>... but so far the Dreads and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span>. Termies SUCK...  Almost wish we'd have just got 1 set, but the Wifey loves her ORKS...<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(84);'>LOL</span><br /> <br /> I just need some help, with where to go from here, Most of you know what's in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(505);'>AOBR</span>... I have 2x that and a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, and Razorback... was hoping for a Spearhead type list, with most everything in tanks... 2500 tops is the goal.. but I'd like a nice 2000 list to shoot for next, I think I have like 800-1000 pts, depending on how the Rhino/back is kitted out...<br /> <br /> Any guidance would be great.... 				<description><![CDATA[ You've got quite a few options here. For <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span> Termies, you could always pop Lysander in there for Bolter Drill, or give them <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(417);'>CML</span>'s (Cyclone Missile Launchers) for tank-popping and horde shredding goodness. Or give them Heavy Flamers in a Vulkan list, which is always wacky fun, especially against Orks/Guard/Nids. <br /> <br /> On the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, you could always go the standard Hammernator route. Something interesting I once saw was some Vanguard Veterans (without jump packs, but with some scattered Power Weapons and Meltabombs) in a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> with a Chaplain, or Pedro Kantor, or sometimes both. That squad puts out a crazy number of attacks, and re-rolling to hit makes them better. And they're slightly cheaper than Termies. Now that I've even mentioned Vanguard at all, I think I'll just back off and wait for the flames, telling me that they're points inefficient, and that they suck. ]]></description>

No, not really. When you could take two heavy weapons per 5 men and tank hunters <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(136);'>USR</span>, they were awesome, but generally I don't find them very useful now. They no longer, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>IMO</span>, have enough firepower to really go for as a shooting unit, and in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> a 5++ is poor protection when you swing at I1. <br /> <br /> Consider: With Lysander, you spend a minimum of 400 points to give rerolls to a handful of storm bolters. 400 points buys a lot of tactical marine bolters and pods/rhinos. They can score objectives too, and generally contribute a lot more to the army. Any land raider in the vanilla book can do that. The next best assaulty unit to come out of there are going to be vanguard veterans with a chaplain, or honor guard with a chaplain. Neither is going to require more than 11 capacity. Stuff them in the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span>, shrug your shoulders about the wasted empty slots inside, and go shoot and charge something!<br /> <br /> <blockquote class="uncited"><div>but so far the Dreads and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span>. 				<description><![CDATA[ I was hoping to stay away from Drop Pods, so for now the Termies and Dreads will be shelved, maybe the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(261);'>LRC</span> too.. I may use it with a different unit for now... probably just get another Razorback kit though...<br /> <br /> I'm thinking I will get the bits to convert to assault termies, or just a box of them, and have some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(505);'>AOBR</span> termies left over for conversion parts???<br /> I'm going to look for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(5);'>AC</span>/<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(328);'>ML</span> arms for my dreads too, I have a few sizes of magnets and I'm sure I can do up something... Just need to find the bits... <br /> <br /> Anyone have Meltagun Marines, Multimelta Marines, a non-<span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(505);'>AOBR</span> sgt, Dread arms, or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> Termie arms?  or a Cyclone missile launcher?  or know where to find them...<br /> <br /> I'm thinking of modeling some Assault Marines without jump packs, what's the best way to get 10 of those?<br /> <br /> thanks for the input]]></description>
