Mission: Speed paint 2000 points of Dark Eldar in 20 Days.

Ok so this shouldn’t really be happening I’m cross with myself as I had aimed to have started this last month but in the end I just couldn’t shake my inerta, now the dead line of the 27th for a tournament is looming where everything’s got to be painted.

It’s almost all put together, I’m no good at conversion so everything’s standard but I will be trying to make some extra blasters for my kabalites.
What I need to get done:
3 Haemonculus
37 Wyches - 8 Done
5 Incubi - Done
11 Kabalites
5 Raiders
3 Venoms
3 Ravagers

I’m just going to get them to a table top standard hoping to do more work on them after.
I’m one day in here’s what I’ve got done.

Let me know if you have any tips for making them look better and keeping motivated

The main reason I started DE was because I wanted to try out airbrushing so I picked up a cheap airbrush from Halfords for £50.

Taken pictures on my phone quality isn’t too bad.

Here’s the results of my first airbrushing

After that i did some brush painting of my 5 incubi and a squad of wyches. I'm using resin bases for this, first time i've tried this, annoyingly they are all slotter bases but the glue seems to be holding up pretty well with so little contact points. I hope to put some snow on them at some point

Here they are after being attached to their resin bases.

Here they are 4 hours later

I'll do some more painting tonight and will upload tomorrow hopefully
