Necrons vs Imperium

Matt gets the paycheck in the end, so...

Now seriously, I'd call it a draw.

It is hinted in the Codex that, even though the 'crons number in the billions, they cannot 'manufacture' new ones. Fallen necrons can be fixed but if one is damaged beyond repair its permanently lost. Biotransference has been like a curse... they'd better find new bodies to apotheosizice into, or they're doomed.

On the other hand, the Imperium tops this millenia's Failed States Index chart. With the Throne failing, Astronomican losing its glow, insurrection rampant, xenos growing in power and signs and portents everywhere that warn of the impending apocalypse, mankind's extincion (barring miracles, starchilds and such) is not a matter of 'if', but of 'when'.

Necrons are nigh eternal and may just wait until any opposition crumbles to dust. ( like they did with Eldar ).

The IoM is to fascinating to watch, thus humans may make it in the end as collected history on display in Trazyns cabinets...
