I am finally getting around to starting my Black Templar army, and have been thinking about the neophytes. For the standard initiate they have purity seals, and all that fun stuff.

but, do neophytes have that as well? or are they just standard space marine scouts with the emblem on the shoulders.

They do benefit from crusader seals, but that's because any unit benefits if even one model in the squad has them. You can put purity seals on, as they don't actually change anything-those are all about taste.
