Are you limited to GW? Scibor makes some great 'not primarch' models and Reaper has this great fellow

Leave the wings off and you'd have a great start for Johnson, the cloak he's wearing is a lion skin with the head on the shoulder.

If you're doing GW look for some of the true scale tutorials to make your primarch bigger and beefier.

Oh i think that lemun russ kit is spectacular, but not what im looking for. However the reaper model looks quite stunning, also i have seen the scibor minatures and might look into them a little more.
