				<description><![CDATA[ I'd go for the Shardnet/Impaler 90% of the time, but as you get 10 Wyches in a box (but only use 9 in this setup) it means that the spare model can be built to give you an extra option just incase you want to mix it up. <br /> <br /> My second choice would probably be the Razorflails purely because they're more reliable, but Hydras can be fun.]]></description>

Mine are a hardy mob most of the time, so hence the shardnet. A Killy counter attack unit should take razorflail or haydra gauntlet ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok before I tell you I use razorflails, and I'll explain why and give the strengths and weakness of each.<br /> <br /> Hydra Gauntlets - <br /> pro - Great against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(45);'>GEQ</span> armies for the extra attacks and it can help some against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQs</span>.  <br /> con - You can roll a one making the upgrade worthless for a turn.  They only really work well against big blobs and venoms can do the work just as easily and more effectively.<br /> <br /> Shardnet and Impaler -<br /> pro - Tarpits dreadnoughts with ease and really cramps <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> wielders.  Works amazingly well with bloodbrides and an archon with a clone field.<br /> con - Smaller games you can't always afford the "tarpit" squad.  Doesn't help the attack just the defense and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(27);'>DE</span> are all about attacking not defending.<br /> <br /> Razorflail -<br /> pro - Best option for fighting <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQs</span>.  Adds a good deal of umph without taking away any edge such as rolling a one on the gauntlets and loosing points or a shardnet against marines while charging.<br /> con - Can be overkill against some targets.  Provides no benefit saftey net against walkers.  Can't get any "extra" attacks<br /> <br /> So all in all I sacrifice some of the randomness (that could be beneficial) and some of the defense against things like <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(105);'>PF</span> and walkers, for a more reliable hitting force.  Picking and choosing where your wyches engage enemy squads/vehicles can be half the battle sometimes.  Always play to your strength and avoid your weakness.  Don't throw a squad with a hydra gauntlet or razroflail against an ironclad.]]></description>

If you get the +1S or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> drugs the effectiveness of the flails is reduced, the only time they are completely uneffected by Combat Drugs is if you get the pain token one (6) or the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(2);'>3D6</span> run one (1).  Combat Drugs can only improve (or do nothing to) the effectiveness of Shardnets and Hydras, but 2/3 of the time they kind of take the shine off the Razorflails.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Against marines I normally find that my regular wyches don't often do that much whatever way they're loaded out. Maybe between 8 of them they'll kill 2 guys a turn. The main punch comes from the Hekatrix's Agoniser, she should normally kill 1 or 2 all by herself.  <br /> <br /> The point is that Wyches aren't really made for plowing into a 3+ save unit and expecting to wipe it in a turn, They get stuck in and grind them down over time. <br /> <br /> Shardnets help you minimize the amount of damage that you take over all those turns and help keep wounds away from the Hekatrix.<br /> <br /> In short, even if you have Flails or Hydras, they wont normally make a dramatic difference to your units overall killy-ness (unless you roll stupidly well with hydra gauntlets <img src="/s/i/a/39ea8e0dbfb45dcc6b802cd0e198dba3.gif" border="0"> ). The 1st priority should be keeping that agoniser swinging, everything else is a side note. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ No not really. Giving a Haemonculus a combat weapon is just a waste of points because they dont want to be in combat really. The only other option is shock prows or Night shields, but just having 1 is of little/no use.<br /> <br /> If I was you I'd just make 7 normal wyches, 1 agoniser/splinter pistol Hekatrix, a Shardnet/Impaler wych and a Razorflail Wych. As you're only ever running 9 whyches + the haemy you can simply not use the flail if needs be.]]></description>

You get reroll to wounds from drugs and thats it.<br /> <br /> Nowhere does it say hits and wounds.  So then you have a 1-6 chance of it affecting the flail and even then you retain rerolls to hit.  +1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(149);'>WS</span> so I need 3s rerollable against marines uh ok how many times would a marine player love a reroll on that armor save?  +1 S...so a 4+ rerollable against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>MEQs</span>, again great combo not reduced effectiveness if anything you are getting more successful wounds.  Extra attack, no effect.  Free pain token, no effect.  Roll 3 d 6 and pick one for running, no effect.  So where do you get 2/3?  It's a 1/6 they are reduced, and 2 of the remaining 5 options just end up with more wounds that you opponent has to try to save.]]></description>
