Qoppa's Unnamed Hivefleet

So a few months ago I finally tried mini gaming for the first time. I found I liked. I found I really liked the arts and crafts part of it. So, since the vast majority at my FLGS plays 40k, I finally took the plunge. Now I'm building up my very own Hivefleet. I have yet to play with any of these guys yet, but I want to show off the progress I've been making. They started like this:

But I got some advice on doing the carapaces, and after some layering and working on the details, I'm more pleased with how they're looking. Looking at the photos with their macro view the shift in blue shades looks kind of jarring, but from several inches away it looks much smoother. I don't think it'll look bad when it's in play.

I think I need to put a wash or something over the teeth, though, to give them more definition. My plans for the termagaunt weapons is to have them shading from blue to purple in a gradient, possibly with more of the Necron Abyss and yellow-green as accents. The genestealers I'm not so sure about. They aren't exactly my favorite models to paint, and I've wondering if I should go for the dark blue on the carapace instead of the purple. Opinions?

And here's my biggest actual modeling project: a tervigon. She's just been started, but I'm looking forward to working on her. She won't be the first thing I've tried using greenstuff on (that honor goes to my poor warriors and their blobby little lashwhips), but she's definitely the most ambitious. I built the middle segment out of the corners of the carnifex's sprues, then pieced it together with superglue and greenstuff and worked from there. Unfortunately, without the sets of talons she can't stand yet, but I'm thinking I might leave them off 'til I'm done sculpting and painting her whole body.

Opinions/suggestions/etc. are welcome, especially in regards to working on greenstuff and what other people have been doing with their tervigons.
