				<description><![CDATA[ So I was thinking of writing a Warriors list but I wanted it to be Tzeentch only. Is this going to be a viable list and if so what are some unit builds that I should be taking?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ A pure Tzeentch list would totally work, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(72);'>imo</span>. You would definitely be more in the style of a war of attrition without the Khorne shock troops, but with a 3+ armor and 5+ parry from your basic warriors, you are going to be able to take a lot of damage. <br /> <br /> As far as units, you're gonna definetely want blocks of Warriors with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(59);'>HW</span>/S, for the aforementioned 3+ 5++ saves in melee.<br /> <br /> Also, you'll want a good couple of Wizards, obviously. If you want to have one on a disc, you can give them the Golden Eye (or is it 3rd Eye? One of those Eyes ;p ) to make him nearly invincible to conventional shooting attacks. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Tzeentch and Khorne are the viable monothemed lists.<br /> <br /> <br /> I run a Tzeentch themed army as well.<br /> <br /> I usually run a Chaos Lord with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, 5+ ward(becomes 4+), Charmed shield, Sword of change, and Bloodcurdling roar. Then I have a sorceror lord with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, 4+ ward(becomes 3+) and the puppet.<br /> <br /> For my combat blocks I run a couple 24 man blocks of Warriors with Shields and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>. 3+ armor and a 5+ parry in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> is just nasty.<br /> <br /> Then I also have a chosen block kitted out for maximum shenanagins to get the 3+ ward and Stubborn(Wailing Banner, Favor of the Gods, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>, Halberds, Shields)<br /> <br /> Then 2 Warshrines with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(102);'>MoT</span>.<br /> <br /> <br /> The I add some Tzeentch knights, some back up sorcerers, and warhounds as needed.]]></description>

Khorne and Tzeetch beeing the most sucsessful thou, low saves and tons of attacks are something you must choose betwen thou.<br /> <br /> Nurgel works also, but can be quite expsensive but non the less a okay army build. Slaanshi is more meh thou, not worth the points unless you like having to work extra hard for that win ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Khorne lists basically work by having lots of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> marauder units backed up by some Halberd Chaos Warriors.<br /> <br /> The units rush forward and connect with their targets.<br /> <br /> Warhounds help prevent the enemy from exploiting your Frenzy.<br /> <br /> <br /> Frenzy isn't as much of a problem if the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> and general are nearby, Ld10 with a reroll is nearly impossable to fail.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Slaanesh always gets ignored and down-played, because the bonus is passive.  You only notice the tests you fail, so when you don't test, you don't notice.<br /> <br /> Khorne is nice; up until you get hosed by that must pursue/overrun.<br /> Tzeench is nice, but fear and panic do come up (8% chance to fail panic with re-roll, 28% chance to fail fear and become WS1).<br /> <br /> Given how cheap the Mark of Slaanesh is, it's very viable and well worth the points.  Seriously, if it saves you from failing 1 test a game, it pays for all the marks in the army.<br /> Characters on steeds of slaanesh are rad, vanguard forward with fast cav, then jump behind the lines turn 1; just like discs.<br /> <br /> Now, to get back on topic:<br /> Everyone is in love with the weapon shield tzeench.<br /> I like the great weapons.  4+/6++ and 18 S6 attacks brutalizes things.  <br /> Why hold up an enemy all game long when you can take a few loses and end combat so much faster.<br /> <br /> <br /> -Matt<br /> <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

I also have Halberd  <img src="/s/i/a/fd71d655ed1170b5e731d23d94924695.gif" border="0">-chosen and some chaos knights to do my heavy lifting. Str4 in the amounts that regular warriors toss out is more then sufficient for my Anvils. It kills just about any infantry/monterous infantry unit just fine.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Its true those tz guys really are a tough bunch I have been running a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(99);'>mok</span> hero in there to see what happens but they havent reached combat in either game because the enemies explode :(<br /> <br /> I like an all tz army even without the chosen.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(101);'>Mos</span> really isnt amazing yes less tests. For 20 points more you get an extra attack per guy. So if you get say 6 extra attacks (assume you are set up 6 wide). So for 30 points you got i dont take those <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>ld</span> tests and the amount of attacks as 3 warriors. Now doing the math you have 3 warriors which cost 48 points so that seems like its worth it even if they get flank charged they can still get the effects of frenzy.<br /> <br /> I dont like <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>gw</span> for the reasons that hey you are faster than most things and with a halberd you wound most things on a 2+ so why risk loosing some guys before they get to attack.<br /> Halberds are also cheaper so you can protect them better by giving them shields.]]></description>

Your Warriors need Khorne or Tz, Sorcerers take Tz anyway, Marauders need Khorne...the only actual use for Slaneesh might be Marauder Horsemen.]]></description>

Opponents drops to WS0, and game derails as you try and find out how to attack with WS0 models.<br /> <br /> Mark of Khorne rocks, but again, that's theory hammer.<br /> My ogres eat frenzy for breakfast.  <br /> Step 1, deploy 8 units of 10 gnoblars (200 pts).<br /> Step 2, laugh as warriors are forced to charge and over-run a 25 point unit, turning their flanks to ogre/maneater/mournfang blocks.<br /> Step 3, profit.<br /> <br /> ~6 attacks and ItP isn't worth MUST over-run.  It's really easy to exploit; especially in an army with nearly zero shooting to clear the bait.  It's not like chaos can stand off and get into a gunfight with whatever is blocking the path.<br /> <br /> -Matt]]></description>

And a mono nurgle <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> army took best general at Alamo <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(48);'>GT</span> this year. <br /> <br /> A block of Tzeench halbred warriors with the frenzy banner is nice as well. ]]></description>

				<title>Monotheistic WoC viable?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I love slaanesh! Fluff and aesthetic aside, what about <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(308);'>MSU</span> Marauders with flails? I've got 6 units of 10 which never panic from shooting. Hit the opponent over and over with S5 attacks while your Warriors get into position.<br /> <br /> Its not the best mark, not even close, but it has its perks. My only regret is not having beastly spell-casters :(]]></description>

Better then Nurgle which is over-costed for an almost useless benifit.]]></description>
