Brother-Captain Stern Model

Just recently got into painting miniatures. Painted a squad of grey knights and decided to try my hand at the slightly converted Brother-Captain Stern model.
I think the paint is a bit thick on his armor, but thanks to a guide by "Catattafish" was able to make the hammer look great!
Soo... any suggestions on making the paint look "smoother"?

Yes, as UnCool Villain said, thin down your paints ever-so-slightly with water. Usually a 1:1 ratio of paint to water is sufficient.

Also, maybe invest in some Citadel Washes: Badab Black will make your models look 10 times better!

Well done on the thunder hammer though! It looks awesome!

Iranna.

I won't lie... my stuff wouldn't look half as good if I hadn't used Washes.
