				<title>1250pt Sisters of Battle. Need Help</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Hi im still getting to grips with this SOB <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(143);'>WD</span> codex .<br /> <br /> The list is for a freindly campaign game at my local club. All i know is that it is againts <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> and is objective based. Any help from more experienced wargamers would be greatly appreciated.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>: <br /> Isembard (Made up character, is as far as rules goes Uriah Jakobus) with a conclave of 9 Arcos in a rhino<br /> <br /> Troops: <br /> Battle sister squad, 2 metla guns, superior has melta bombs. in Rhino( x 3)<br /> <br /> Fast attack: <br /> Dominion squad. 2 meltas, Simulcrim Impeiralis. In a immolator with twin link <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(330);'>MM</span>.<br /> <br /> Heavy: <br /> Exorcist tank<br /> <br />  - Thanks in advance Dakka. x]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd take one of the squads of troops and drop the dual melta / melta bombs to a flamer, heavy flamer to help with hordes. Also, maybe think of changing the conclave to 6-7 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span> and 2-3 Crusaiders?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ At 1k, I'd trade the Dominion's 2 meltas for 2xFlamer+CombiMelta.<br /> <br /> I agree with <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span>/Crusaders for Isembard.<br /> <br /> Also, I might think about swapping the melta bombs for something else. Maybe dozer for Isembard.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would say if you are only playing against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>, then only take meltas. Not the flamers. <br /> <br /> While mixing in the flamers would make this list more balanced for a take on all comers list, if you know that your only playing against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span> then take the meltas. While dropping the templates with the twin-linked flamers may seem nice (in the dominion squads that is), I don't think that it would do as much damage as the guaranteed kill from the melta. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(186);'>def</span> drop arcos for dca. some people like a mix of dca/crusaders, and i definitely understand their point, but in my experience the cuissanart ability that the dca have, esp when backed by uriah, can turn the tables themselves. <br /> <br /> Also, at this points level i'm not sold on the dominions.<br /> A. They can't claim<br /> B. the reason they rock is because of their ability to outflank, but the usefulness of that is curtailed in such a small battle, and is more than offset by the fact that a bad roll can put them on the exact opposite side of the board from where you need them to be. With melta (read: short ranged) weaponry, that means they are ineffective or at very least less effective for at least a turn or two. Personally i'd ditch them for another exorcist, a tried and true piece of work whose value to the sisters can never be overstated]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(126);'>TL</span> flamers do more wounds to <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>Meq</span>.<br /> Melta is 8/9 hit, 5/6 wound. Or 20/27 dead. X2 is 1 and change not counting cover. 1 13/27 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(17);'>btw</span>. Cover is less than one dead.<br /> Flamer is a conservative (tank shocks and disembarks enhance this) 3 hits. 2.25 wounds. X2. 4.5 wounds. 1.5 dead. Cover irrelevant.<br /> Plus keep in mind my version has a combi if you really need it.<br /> <br /> The only thing I would swap doms for is an exorcist. Doms give cover first turn to your army or a 12" advance. Thats huge.<br /> <br /> <br /> <span style="font-size: 9px; line-height: normal;">Automatically Appended Next Post:</span><br /> Outflank is actually the least useful part of scout. Going second? Deploy in front of your army, move and smoke. Going first? Put those immos in first turn melta range. Scout is a big deal.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok first of all thanks for the speedy replies everybody, i really appreciate the help.<br /> <br /> I am thinking of sticking with meltas in my troop choices because i am against <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(22);'>CSM</span>. If i was againt say orks or something i would be more inclined to mix flamers as well. Melta bombs deffo gone. I will swap the doms for a second exorcist tank , i have not got a second model but i am assuming my opponent will be cool with a proxy ( we are really laid back about this sort of thing at my club). my dom squad came to just under 200pts i think and the exprcist is 135 so this would also free up some points.<br /> <br /> I have had really good experiences with the arcos againts <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(95);'>meqs</span> in the past. I have given khorne beserkers a good mugging when ive got the charge which is always nice. What is the argument for <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span> instead? I just wanna make sure i know <u>why </u>they are a better choice for the game and <u>how </u>to use them if im gonna take them into the game.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I'd drop the Acros, get Deathcult and Crusaders. Much more effective.<br /> <br /> I'd also drop the melta bombs on the superiors and give them combi meltas. The extra melta shot is more useful, in my opinion, than the bombs as you want that extra shot against enemies.<br /> <br /> I'd probably drop one of the dominion squads and make the other full strength in a rhino. With a combi melta that's 5 twin-linked shots. They're more effective. That's how I run them<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span> are I:6 with 4 power weapon attacks on the charge. If you add in Jacobus they're getting 5 power weapon attacks with re-rolls on the charge. S4.<br /> <br /> You're looking at a little bit more than 2 dead Marines per <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span> on the charge.<br /> <br /> Compared to Acros which have slightly more than 1 kill per Acro on the charge.<br /> <br /> Both of these numbers include the extra attack and the re-roll Jacobus give them. Boom, MATH'D!<br /> <br /> 2 Exorcists are also good.]]></description>

Also, I'd swap a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(521);'>DCA</span> or two for some crusaders to suck up some hits on the squad. <br /> <br /> Depending on how many points are left, Dozer for Isembard and the rest into combis.]]></description>
