				<description><![CDATA[ Right I'm dead set on making a troll army fronted by throgg. at this stage i'm thinking <br /> <br /> throgg <br /> 18 trolls <br /> 6 chaos ogres<br /> 10 marauder horsemen<br /> 32 marauders<br /> a giant<br /> <br /> for the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span> i think this list needs some crazy powerful magic, but tough as nails as well.<br /> <br /> so do i go for a daemon prince magically pimped up?<br /> or do i get a sorceror lord and mount him on something nasty or hide him in a unit?<br /> <br /> i would love to mount him on a dragon it would fit beautifully with the theme of the army, but is it too much? and would i end up filling the army points just to justify keeping the dragon?]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ The Disk Sorceror is certaintly effective, if it is kinda overdone.<br /> <br /> Dragons are not very good in the current meta because of Cannons and the 8th ed <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(85);'>LoS</span> rules. he will always be able to be targeted pretty much.<br /> <br /> You also NEED a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span> so you can reroll your <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(82);'>Ld</span> tests.<br /> <br /> <br /> Disk Sorceror and an Exalted Hero <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(174);'>BSB</span>.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ cheers guys, its a shame bout the dragon not being great.. was gona stick the sorceror lord from the manticor kit on a forgeworld carmine dragon... which i may still do for my shelf instead of the gaming table.<br /> <br /> I am not against going with what is popular, i'll take a disk build if I have to, but would love to have the sorceror riding a big nasty, how would a manticore work? or is it just unneccessary as the sorceror will be sat at the back casting anyway?<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Sorcerors are great when they are mobile, which a Dragon or Disk or anything with Fly does well.<br /> <br /> Then you add in cannons which can outright kill a monster you are riding unless it has some sort of regen/ward save. Neither the Dragon or Manticore has this.<br /> <br /> The Disk is a monstrous beast and as such isn't killable specifically. Its the Sorceror who's taking the hits and he has a 3+ ward.<br /> <br /> <br /> Its mostly to avoid losing a huge chunk of points(Dragons are expensive) and your wizards mobility to missile fire. hence why the untargetable Disk is a better choice of mount.]]></description>

I usually run a <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(347);'>lvl</span> 2 on disc along side him and it tends to work well enough.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Characters in <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(385);'>WoC</span> armies are generally very good, although I tend to skimp on mine! A dragon can be awesome!<br /> <br /> Just keep in mind that your 6 ogres can only take on light targets... the trolls need to do the heavy lifting, and if they're got the banner of eternal flame it helps to have some magic on your side to target that unit (or buff your own that has to face it).<br /> <br /> Daemon princes are also good! I tend to run mine as a level 1 with third eye of tzeentch <img src="/s/i/a/c614b4720f1b7225b0523f616ac30b2f.gif" border="0"> with perhaps bloodcurdling roar OR stream of corruption.<br /> <br /> ]]></description>
